AESUB Orange 3D Scanning Spray

AESUB Orange is a long-lasting, self-vanishing 3D scanning spray developed for optical 3D scanning applications where extended working time and reliable surface preparation are essential. It produces a thin, homogeneous matt white coating that significantly improves the scanability of reflective, transparent and otherwise challenging surfaces, helping you achieve clean, high-quality scan data with minimal effort.

With an effective scan time of approximately 4–8 hours, AESUB Orange is ideal for larger components, complex assemblies and detailed measurement tasks that require a longer uninterrupted scanning window. The pigment-free formulation helps maintain a clean working environment and reduces the risk of pigment deposits on sensitive scanning equipment, supporting consistent results across demanding workflows.

After scanning, the coating gradually disappears on its own. The nominal sublimation time is approximately 12–24 hours, meaning no manual removal is typically required. This makes AESUB Orange particularly convenient for projects where efficiency and reduced post-processing are important. Actual scan and sublimation times may vary depending on temperature, airflow, surface structure, material and the thickness of the applied coating.

AESUB Orange is supplied in a 400 ml aerosol can and forms a very fine coating with an average thickness of approximately 2–6 µm. One can covers approximately 4 m² depending on the surface and application method. Reference points can be applied directly to the sprayed coating, allowing for flexible and efficient setup during scanning.

Because the coating sublimates after use, post-scan cleaning is generally not required, helping to streamline your workflow and reduce downtime between projects.
